Now
is the time to rejuvenate our spirit as we are passing through this
time of global concerns. It is now the end of March 2020 and the United
States are gradually moving into the middle of our share of the first
Global Pandemic in many years.
The
Covid-19 virus has developed into an invisible war on humanity.  But
the scientists, doctors, and nurses of today are fighting back to bring
this demon down and put it under control with their mighty weapons
developed in the global laboratories. Sending highly earned recognition
to these warriors, in the midst of battle, working endlessly for human
survival.
While
sitting in our home, social distancing, I've tried to maintain my
creative spirit as well.  It is hard not being able to hop into the car
and run down to the local craft store to get the supplies I need to move
onward with my plans designing the next fall/holiday ornament.  I've
had to regroup and learn how to be patient and do what I can with what
I've got on hand.  Yes, I can order some supplies but the delivery of
said items is not like the instant gratification of choosing off the
shelf and instantaneously commanding my creative spirit into action.  So
moving onward...I'll take what I have and make the components of the
ornaments and as I can, restock supplies.
The
media I choose to work in is different kinds of wire wrapping and/or
sculpting.  The ornaments I mentioned are made with tarnish resistant
copper color coated wire.  These c  reations have been swimming in my head
since before Christmas 2019.  The first sketches were completed from
then until early February 2020.  I had just gotten into full swing of
designing from the drawing into the real materials.  I was fortunate
enough to get some prototypes done just prior to this unfortunate
interruption we are not living through.  But as all creatives do...we
will prevail.
Here are some snapshots of my prototype designs.  They will be ready for sale by October 2020.

All creations are handmade and definitely one of a kind.  The creative spirit takes an idea and makes it, it's own!!!

Thank you for spending time with my Rejuvenation of the Spirit.  May your spirit be rejuvenated and the Human Spirit be much better after we have survived this invisible war.
 The
Heart Pendant pictured above is made with the natural copper coated to
not tarnish.  The stones are dyed coral chips.  The pendant was designed
months ago and is available on my selling website Amelia Originals.  To me it was the obvious choice to symbolize the Rejuvenation of Spirit.
